i updated referenfces and we changed the timing of the read a little, but
kyla feels a little out of character here anyway. she is too floaty and
melodramatic. i would lower her eyes a little instead of looking upward
i dont really mind her hands coming up and clasping, but they feel a
little slow and floaty too.
